Eonycteris spelaea, commonly known as the cave nectar bat, is a species of large fox-headed bat.

Species: Eonycteris spelaea from Indonesia

Eonycteris spelaea is found in eastern and southern Asia, from northern India to China and large parts of Southeast Asia, this one from Indonesia.

Despite what its teeth might suggest, this bat feeds on nectar, adapting regionally mainly to the flowers of cultivated plants, especially bananas.
