Description

Fisher skull (Marten) of Canada

Martes pennanti

The fisher is a species of the Mustelidae family. It is a small carnivorous mammal of North America (called Pékan in Canada). This marten is also called, among other things, Fisher’s marten or Pennant’s marten.

Size: Length approx 12/13cm

All skulls are different in size, color, teeth etc... They are wild animals that have lived in freedom, so some skulls may have missing teeth or teeth that are worn, cracked or broken.

These animals lived in Canada and were harvested by trappers according to the international humane trapping standards in force between Canada and the European Union.
