The Institut d'Esthétique founded by Simonne Laubé was located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.
Skinned
The paint has jumped a little in places, on the nose for example, see photos.
The bust is signed and stamped on the back.
Material: apparently vulcanized and painted rubber
Simonne Laubé drew inspiration for her study mask from the famous death mask of L'Inconnue de la Seine.
