In the early 20th century, Limoges pharmacist Michel Legros was a great botanical connoisseur.
He developed a product that healed people bitten by venomous snakes with impressive speed, he claims.
The serum is the same for European vipers or more dangerous snakes like the cobra, but also works on insect bites...!
Local hunters, fishermen and farmers flocked to his dispensary to buy the kit.
His kit became famous throughout France and even abroad, particularly in the French colonies, until the 1960s.
A time when the efficacy and safety of the products had to be proven...
Kit contains:
-3 ampoules of orange antivenom
-1 original glass syringe, marked TROUSSE Michel LEGROS
Case dimensions: 8 x 7.5cm
With vintage instructions. Leaflet explaining how to inject the antivenom.
